The Giant was originally written as a 3 guitar music piece for my brothers and I to play on stage one day. For traveling and what not we weren’t able to gig as much as we have been when we were younger.

I felt that a final stage for a community to step forward to freedom is in the evolution of it’s ‘collective consciousness’ after passing the previous stages.

These moments throughout history are special. Even though when the drive of such evolution still lies in the basic cycle of existential survival as a community. I think it is one of those few moments where individual intelligence about survival converges with community intelligence about survival. Because we are so smart as individuals, not as smart when we build our communities.

I wanted to imagine making this step towards freedom, so collectively conscious as if this community is actually a sky with all its endless horizon,variations and glory. Wanted to capture the thunderbolt of the giant, man kind.
